Under His Wing
A mother bird gathers her babies close
and covers them with her wing.
As you lie down to sleep, or during quiet
moments, bring this image to mind.
You are nestled close to God –
His wing is over you.
Nothing can harm you.
No dark thoughts can come.
All is well.
You are safe.
Like a mother bird protects her young,
God’s wing shields and protects you.
You can rest there.
You can sleep there.
You are safe.
Psalm 91:4
He will cover you
with his feathers,
and under his wings
you will find refuge.
