Do Not Fear

When fear comes,

remember the promises

God gives us:

Do not fear for I am with you.

Do not be afraid of him for I am with you.

I am with you always.

I will never leave you.

Choose one of these promises.

Write it down and carry it with you.

When fear comes

remember this promise of God.

You are not alone.

Do not be afraid of him,

declares the Lord,

for I am with you

and will save you

and deliver you from his hands.

I learned that courage

was not the absence of fear,

but the triumph over it.

The brave man is not

he who does not feel afraid,

but he who conquers that fear.
