A Garment of Praise - From More Comfort
Today when you get dressed,
put on a garment of praise.
Pick one item of clothing that is joyful.
A scarf.
A favorite belt.
A soft shirt.
Fun socks.
Something that brings joy.
Throughout the day
when you face hardship,
touch your garment of praise
and remember that God is good.
Praise Him in that moment.
Thank You.
Praise You.

Isaiah 61:3
To comfort all who mourn,
and provide for those who
grieve in Zion - to bestow on them
a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
instead of a spirit of despair.

Charles H. Spurgeon
Grin and bear it is old fashioned advice,
but sing and bear it is a great deal better.
