Look Up - From More Comfort

Look Up

Posture tells a lot about our feelings.

Notice yours. Where does your gaze fall?

Down or up?

Your mood follows your perspective.

Looking down can bring you down.

An earthly perspective

sinks and depresses.

Today look up.

See the sky or imagine the sky

right through your ceiling.

Look up - beyond your ceiling or the sky.

A heavenly perspective

lifts and encourages.

Today when you are tempted to let

yourself feel down, look up.

***

Psalm 3:3

But you are a shield around me, O Lord;

you bestow glory on me

and lift up my head.

***

Charlotte Bronte

I avoid looking forward or backward,

and try to keep looking upward.
