show up.

Go to your desk.

Sit with your Bible.

Find a quiet space.

Wait at your easel.

Move into the kitchen.

Show up.

Be ready when inspiration strikes.

Don’t be asleep

or numb with mindless activities.

Be ready.

Expect God to be there.

He is waiting for you.

Don’t miss Him.

You’re going to have some fun together.

Inspiration exists,

but it has to find you working.

Be strong and courageous

and do the work.

Do not be afraid or discouraged,

for the Lord God,

my God, is with you.
