Tangles - From More Hope

Tangles

You hold the ball of yarn of your life.

It’s a tangled, knotted mess.

The more you struggle to untangle it,

the worse it becomes.

Now imagine that you see Jesus.

He holds out His hands for the yarn.

Place the tangled mess in His hands.

Then stop worrying.

Go about your day in peace.

The One who loves you

will straighten out the tangles.

When anxiety comes today,

remember: He has it.

Focus on Jesus, not your mess.

He is gently working for you.

Beth Moore

Bring to God the thing: the need, longing,

heart’s desire, the petition, hope, dream.

Give it over to Him then,

instead of fixating on waiting

for the fruition of the thing,

reset your focus on waiting

on the Lord in regard to the thing.

Seems subtle but

it’s a total game changer.

Lamentations 3:25-26

The Lord is good to those

whose hope is in him,

to the one who seeks him;

it is good to wait quietly

for the salvation of the Lord.
