Your Rock

You are not strong enough on your own.

You need God’s strength

to make you strong.

Find a small rock

in a gravel parking lot,

in a garden,

along the sidewalk.

Hold your rock.

It is solid, firm, unyielding.

Throughout the day

feel the solid, firmness of your rock.

Let it remind you that

God’s strength is with you.

Solid. Firm. Unyielding.

He is your strength.
